Juniors Match 2
Matthew wins today with the help of this 11lb 3oz carp for weight of 25lb 6oz
The second Juniors match was held on the lake this weekend and the carp were in a more obliging mood than 2 weeks ago, or maybe the juniors are just getting better at catching them…..?
Matthew Warman continued his winning form with top weight on the day of 25lb 6oz including a 11lb 3oz common carp which gave him qute a fight on his pole and maggots shallow tactics on peg 25.
Only just over 1lb behind, on peg 27, was Finley Blackwell, with 24lb 5oz for 2nd on the day. Finley had 2 carp and some silver fish but unfortunately had lost another 2 carp which would have made all the difference to the results, but that is match fishing and it happens to everyone.
Anna Warman was 3rd on the day with 9lb 9oz from peg 29
The Overall results for the combined weights over the 2 matches were
1st Matthew Warman 43lb 8oz
2nd Finley Blackwell 32lb 12oz
3rd Anna Warman 16lb 13oz
4th Jacob Woolston 13lb 15oz
Everyone who fished got a prize package including terminal tackle and bait plus a Wensum Valley Angling Voucher
Matthew, as overall winner has won the Junior Cup Trophy and also won a brand new Browing Margin Pole with 2 tops fully elasticated courtesy of Wensum Valley Angling – Thanks Daniel for all your support
Finley who took second place overall won a feeder rod.
