Wednesday 4th June 2025 – Match 1
So, summer has officially arrived and 12 members turned out for the 1st match of this years evening series at the club lake. On peg 20 (some people can draw!) Chris Tims had a frustrating first 1.5 hours losing 4 out 5 carp he hooked and only had about 5lb in the net….. then things started to improve and he ran out the winner with 49lb 8oz .
Simon Harrold was on peg 17 and caught 44lb 7oz of carp for 2nd place – with several lost fish costing him top spot.
3rd place this week was Lewis Dicken on peg 1 with 43lb 6oz
Sections went to Chris Winterbone, Wayne Staddon and Ian Jones.
