Wednesday 11th June 2025 – Match 2
Another good turnout for week 2 of the Evening series with 12 members arriving to try their luck. I remembered to draw The “snowball peg” this week (thanks for the reminder Dave J) which I completely forgot last week, and the snowball was peg31 which had Lewis Dicken sitting on it!
Lewis had one of those nights where whatever he tried produced a Carp and he quite rightly made the most of it. He fished paste down both sides and on a short line and paralysed the match with 82lb picking up a tidy £74 with 1st place and the snowball.
Mark Seaman was back this week and had a creditable 66lb 9oz off peg 1 for 2nd place and Simon Harrold took 3rd with 57lb 9oz from peg 25.

The lake fished really well all round with over 426lb of fish being weighed in! Let’s hope it all continues next week………. See you there…………..
