Week 5 and the final match of the series with 11 competitors tonight and the weather warm and muggy it proved to be a close match
Michael Tims took 1st place this week with 39lb 4oz from peg 29 beating his Dad (Chris Tims) into 2nd place off the next peg with 36lb 4oz, followed by Simon Harrold who took 3rd spot with 34lb 6oz (beating Series winner Mark Seaman into 4th by 1oz)!!
Mark took the series with 30lb + lead over Chris in 2nd place so congratulations to him – I am sure he will be pleased with the trophy……..
Already looking forward to next years series – – after this years winter league of course, and the rest of the summer matches – hopefully see you on some of them.
