Pairs Trophy and Winter League 6
With hardly a breath of wind the lake was like glass, and with the temperature only forecast to reach 3 degrees it was a hard match which faced the 12 members who turned out for this weeks match.
Mark Seaman drew peg 19 and boosted his silvers with an 11lb 5oz carp to take first place with 19lb 3oz
2nd place this week went to Ivan Allen was on peg 12 where he had 2 carp and skimmers for 17lb 3oz.
Colin Beales also had a couple of carp and was 3rd with 12lb 9oz from peg 28.
Mark Seaman was paired with Billy Watson who also had a large carp in his 7lb 4oz off peg 31 and so with their joint weight of 26lb 7oz they won the Pairs Trophy.
Sections went to Chris Isbel , Simon Harrold and Billy Watson.
Colins 3rd place keeps him ahead of the field in the winter league although Mark’s two wins on the bounce look ominous as he moves into 2nd place just 1 point behind Colin – but there is still 3 matches to go and anything can happen!
