Winter League Week 9
A heavy overnight frost greeted everyone at this weeks match and although the bright sunshine did its best to warm things up the sport was a bit on the slow side for many.
Chris Isbell made it 2 wins in a row this week with 2 carp plus silvers for 26lb 13oz from peg 31, and the added bonus of winning the snowball!
2nd place went to the ever consistent Ian Jones with an all silvers catch of 21lb 15oz from peg 19, and Lewis Dicken picked up 3rd with 16lb 9oz from peg 28.
Sections went to Chris Tims, James “Chumba” Page, and Billy Watson.
So, as this was the final round of The Winter League what happened………….
Mark Seaman won the league going 1 point clear of Chris Tims in 2nd who was 5 points ahead of Colin Beales in 3rd.

Also would like to thank club stalwart Billy Watson for all his work as assistant match secretary over the past couple of years as he is stepping down from the role and this was his last match as organiser. No doubt we will see you at the lake and on some of the matches in the coming year.
